It allows participants to expand their knowledge in areas covering local intranet construction and maintenance and allow seamless intercommunication between various platforms. This workshop also addresses two of the most critical areas relative to wide area networking - security / firewalling and the set-up of a domain name server (DNS) and Bind which enable Internet inter-active programmes such as e-commerce and e-business.
